The plate covering the turntable motor is fixed all the way round and is actually joined to the back. The plate would be easy to get off by breaking the areas where it is sealed but how can I fix it back on again please? There are no screws. 2 Answers
I have a Panasonic NN A574SB Quartz Grill Combi Microwave Oven Stainless Steel 271 1000W
- The electrical shielding offered by this plate is critical to safety - mircowaves heat flesh as well as food, so know the risk before proceeding. Search YouTube which has plenty of guiding videos. The design is such that you need to snip the thin metal between the holes at the perimiter of the plate in order to remove it. It goes back rotated 180 degrees with tabs locating on one side and use a self-tapping screw on the other side.
- I only broke 3/4 of the tabs and used the others as a hinge. refix by hinging down and bend tabs to hold in place. if not use some duct tape
Is this item compatible with all Panasonic Microwaves? And how easy is this to install? Thanks! 2 Answers
- ia this motor with panasonic model nn-a574
- Don't know whether it is OK for all Panasonic's but would guess it probably is. Easy to install once you have worked out how.

Turntable problem with Panasonic NN-K655BBPQ. Motor is out from underneath, no problem. But coupler from inside unit does not lift up, however hard I pull. Is there a trick to this? I want to inspect it before deciding what the problem might be. 1 Answer

The coupler should be released once the motor is out as it needs to move slightly 'off center' but will be held by the motor shaft.
I have taken out the microwave turntable motor and disconnected the wires. It has a yellow and a brown wire. How do I know which wire to fit to which connector on the new motor as there are no markings? 1 Answer

Chris at eSpares says...
As this is an AC motor the wires can be reversed on the motor without issue. Some motors will rotate clockwise and when stopped may run anti clockwise.
