My CDA565FW fridge freezer is freezing all fridge contents. Freezer working fine still. Please can you suggest likely problem? It's only about 3 years old. Thanks!

  • Thank you Chris. I replaced the pcb as you advised (& as a woman was pleasantly surprised how easy to do!)... but it hasn't solved the problem. Looks like I'll have to go down the Beko extended warranty route :~( By Naomi - UK - 19 October 2015

The problem is likely to either be Stock Number: ES1247946 or the sensor that cannot be replaced as it is in the lining of the fridge.

The problem in this case is likely to be either a sensor (which you can not replace) or the pcb Stock Number: ES1247946

The fault may lie with the PCB board or temperature sensor. Please view our advice centre page for help in diagnosing faults with a fridge freezer, http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/2/2113

If the 'wet wall' at the back of the fridge is not lightly frosting you may either have a blockage or low gas in the system both would require a refrigerator systems engineer. If evenly frosting it may be just excess local heat in a hot kitchen or opening to often.
