Washing Machine Door Interlock
If your washing machine is not starting with the relevant lights lit on the fascia panel, then it could be because the door interlock has failed. You can end up with water leaking from the machine if the door is not locked correctly during the wash cycle. With this replacement from eSpares, you can wash your way through the pile of laundry that you had stacked up.

Hi, having the F16 issue, and need to change the door lock on our washing machine. All videos on the net show how to remove the lock by removing 2 screws, but our model doesn't have any - there are only plastic plugs where the screws normally are. I can't see how to remove the lock, as there is little space between the tumbler and the wall, and worried that just prying it loose with brute force may break something. Thanks in advance!

Push the plastic 'pips' carefully below the surface of the front panel and slide the lock to the inside of the door to allow it to clip out of the front.
Hi I have bought this part, can you give me instructions on how to fit it? I am fairly handless, so an idiots guide would be most useful. 1 Answer

See if this video might help you. Granted it's a Hotpoint machine but could still prove helpful.
