Have followed your insructions to fit new fan. There dosn't appear to be access at the back on this cooker. The fan does work, but slowly, stopping and starting and occationally at full speed.

It certainly sounds like you need to change the motor before it causes the element to fail. When the fan cover is removed if the back wall of the oven is has not got screws that can allow it to be removed (I have never found one that has screws). Then the fan must be removed from the back.
