I have recently purchased a water filter and I'm having difficulty in removing the existing filter. I have followed the instructions in the manual for the fridge however I am still unable to remove it. Is there a tool I need? I would appreciate some advice on this.

The filter body has to twist before it will disengage from the holder, try turning the water off and using the dispenser to remove any pressure in the pipe. If you cannot twist it you may need to replace the filter housing.
