The roller brush motor is working but the main motor is not. Is a main motor replacement the most likely answer or could it be a simple fuse/wiring issue elsewhere?

The problem is likely to be either the main motor or its carbon brushes.

The drive belt is fine - it is the motor that has burnt out. Is this the correct motor?

No this is the main motor. The motor for the cleaning head is not available separately and is available complete as Stock Number: ES1085318
belt not worn or snapped but piece of what looks like copper came from motor near belt is this what i need to replace it? 1 Answer
