Tumble Dryer Poly-Vee Drive Belt
If you have a belt in your tumble dryer that has worn, stretched out even snapped, it will not be able to spin the drum in your machine - meaning your clothes could be left damp at the end of the cycle. eSpares has this replacement belt, which could be the answer to getting the drive system back up to speed in your tumble dryer.
The Poly-Vee belt (ribbed belt) looks like a flat belt but has V-shaped ribs along the inside for better friction between the drive system and the belt. eSpares could soon get you back to nice dry clothes again, with your tumble dryer performing at its best, in no time!
Specification:
- Type: Poly-Vee
- Length: 1930mm
- Type of ribs: H
- Number of ribs: 7
Genuine spare part for select models of AEG, Blomberg and Electrolux tumble dryers.

Anyone done this job who can help please. I've not removed the front of the machine yet but the motor spindle has coupled drives both ends so how do I get the belt over the spindle. At the front of the machine the spindle shaft drives a blower it seems do I need to remove this and how. Does it become obvious once I remove the front chassis panel? Thanks

Hi rooster, all becomes clear when you remove the front panel - check out this video: http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/tumble-dryers/a/9/1346/how-to-replace-the-belt-on-a-tumble-dryer-bos.html. The dryer in the video is a different model to yours, but the process you need to go through is the same.
Just bought this v-belt as a replacement for the one that has perished and broken. Is there someone out there, who can explain how to fit this belt around the drum. I don't want to completely dismantle the machine, as I'm sure there is an easy way. Reading the reviews it looks as though the fellas have had problems doing the same job. Help, please?
