High Quality Replacement Washing Machine Door Interlock
Door locks need to be checked on a regular basis to ensure they work correctly. If the door is not locked correctly during the wash cycle, it could lead to water leaks from the machine. The door interlock is an electronic device that provides a time delay of approximately 2 minutes, once the wash/dry cycle has been completed before the washing machine door can be opened.
If your washing machine will not start, yet the relevant lights appear to be lit on the fascia panel, it could be because the door interlock has failed. If the door closes, and the wash/dry cycle is selected but still no joy - it may well be time for a new interlock. With help from eSpares, you can soon be back to a safe and fully working washing machine again, so the pile of laundry does not start to stack up for you!

You will need to identify if the door handle has broken which will stop the door catch from connecting to the lock if ok suspect the lock itself.

It is likely the door interlock is causing the problem.
We replaced the door interlock on our indesit washing machine with one we orderes from here. Fitted it with no problem but the door will still not close and the lock button / light is flashing red. Any help or suggestions?

Check the door catch is going into the door lock correctly to make contact or it won't start.

The door lock flashing indicates the door is not closed if you are not getting readings through the door lock it is likely to be faulty.

This item is a complete replacement door lock, if you are talking about the door catch that inserts into the lock then it is supplied separately.
