The element has one standard screw at the bottom but was installed with two flat head hex bolts which don't fit anything in my tool box. I've a small Black and Decker electric screwdriver I'm sure would do the job but am struggling to find what attachment I'd need to get them unscrewed. The bolts have a hex shape but are small and not very deep mean getting purchase on them is difficult. Any advice or products you could suggest would be a real help. It's a built in and I can't access the back without pulling the whole oven out. All the video's on youtube show oven elements secured with ordinary screws, sadly not mine.

This element is fixed by nuts that have to be accessed from the back of the oven. If your oven has hex screw heads accessed from the cavity there should be more suitable elements on our site. Stock Number: ES1640725 may help remove the screws.

If the fan is working and the oven temperature indicator is lit but no heat in the oven suspect the element. You can check with a meter for a resistance of less than 30 ohms. To replace the thermostat see a similar video at: http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/1/1428/how-to-replace-an-oven-thermostat-in-an-elect
how do i dissmantle the oven to get to the element

Hi Booo I'm afraid that we at eSpares are not technically trained and can't give advice on how to fit parts. We would advise that you get in touch with your local Bosch or dishwasher specialist (or ask a friend or relative!) and they should be able to help you out.
