will this make the water drain back into the condenser
as currently there is no float as it has broken off and the water is not draining into the condensed unit

This dryer will fill the container and when full will run back to the reservoir and lift the float stopping the heat and prevent flooding. Without the float it could over fill and spray on to the heater causing failure.
