Heat resistant inner glass door sealant: does it give off fumes and taint the food being cooked?

Chris at eSpares says...
The sealant may give off a little fumes until fully cured after its first heating but if used to attach the outside glass panel it would be outside the cavity so should not taint food being cooked. We recommend you run the oven to full temperature for twenty minutes after the glue has set to clear any fumes.
