Does this EPROM chip come programmed and ready to work in the WIDL 102?
Also, do I need the special tweezers to fit it? Essentially, most of the lights on the machine are flashing rapidly all the time, it won't turn on or work in any way. I've tried unplugging it and I've tried holding down the reset/power buttons for more than 14 seconds but to no avail. I hear this is common in these machines and that the electronics in them are very unreliable. Could you tell me which components I'm likely to need and if I can fit them myself without specialist equipment or the need to programme them myself? Essentially I want to avoid having to pay an engineer to come out and fix it at what is likely to cost at least €250. I may end up buying a whole new machine, but any advice you give I promise to take at my own risk as I realise you haven't actually seen the machine. Regards Al
