How does the front panel come away from the freezer to replace green lamp
Green lamp is working but very dim (freezer is several years old)

- Actually you have to remove the side panel in order to then remove the front panel (containing lamps and switches) from the inside of the fridge. It's held by a couple of screws, so say Hotpoint.

Hi Howard, the front panel should come away if you use a blunt object to lever it out. If not, try looking from the inside of the fridge for a way to remove it.
