Dishwasher gets three quarters way through its cycle then stops and knocks all electric off in the house. Dishwasher gets really hot. Same fault on whichever program I set it on. Works perfectly until it gets to the drying stage
Will the problem be the Thermostat?

The problem is likely to be the water heater not the thermostat.
