Neff dishwasher

My neff s5443x1gb/13 only pumps out properly if I lower the drain hose so it doesn't have to pump water up to the height of the machine. I think the effectiveness of the pump has been affected by heavy scoring of the sump which the pump sits in by glass entering the impeller area. I was thinking of replacing the pump and the pump sump. Does this sound like the probably issue? Also can you advise if I will need a new gasket to seal the new pump housing/ sump or if it's included. Will I also need an impeller cover. The only one is scored or it it part of the sump part.

A simple a cheap check would be to run a couple of cleaners through the appliance to ensure that any grease built up is not causing your problem. I think the seal will come with the pump and I would be supprissed if the scoring is sufficient to be causing your problem.
