I would like to know how all these people know that the product Universal limescale cleaner works on their washing machines. Do they actually open the machines to inspect the elements and drums??

- one way is to measure the electricity used with a plug-in meter that fits between the wall socket and the appliance, once before the usage, once after. When the amount of electricity used goes down, one may infer that the element has been cleaned and that this accounts for the drop in power used and hence money saved.
