Do I need one?

My Creda washing machine hasn't worked above 40 deg for some time now. If I put the programmer to anything above that it just won't switch on, so I am guessing I might need a new thermostat. If that's the case, is it easy to fit?

The washing machine would normally come on even if the thermostat was faulty it would just continue washing waiting for the water to heat. If it does not start on the 90C cycle check if it has a hot fill input and that hot water can fill the machine.
