Hi is the element a dual element, the one I'm looking at has 4 terminals, the inner terminals are drawing 1.4 amps, is this right? Thanks

This is a dual element and if your inner element is drawing 1.4 amps with a supply of 240 volts this would produce 334 watts of heat, as this is around a third of the size then the total power is likely to be around 1000 watts and likely to be correct for a bottom element.
