On a Hotpoint Aquarius: the Machine keeps switching off and the" door locked" light flashes. Could this be caused by a faulty door lock which keeps releasing and stopping the programme?

It is not necessarily a problem caused by the door lock. Check motor brushes first and see what part of the cycle the problem occurs. Check out our diagnosis videos in our advice centre for more information.
