When l switch my oven on l have to give the fan a tap in order to start working, then after an hour or so the oven cuts out and l have to wait about 10 mins for it to start working again. Any ideas???

The fan motor is likely to be binding and not circulating the air correctly. Replacing it will improve if not eliminate the second problem completely.
