We recently moved into a house with a cannon range cooker(1000mm) . The main oven knob is snapped off.Is it easy to replace or will I have to have an engineer out?

It is more likely to be the control that has the shaft broken than just the knob. Check by removing another knob. If it is a electric cooker you can replace the part. See our advice centre for similar videos on replacing cooker parts.
