Dishwasher Plug overheating

Tricity Bendix DH086 The Plug gets too hot. Replaced the Plug. Still gets too hot. I have resorted to running the machine for 7 minutes and switching off to give time for the plug to cool off and restart later to finish the cycle. Please advise.

The reason for a plug to overheat is due to resistance caused be loose connections. If you have used a 'quality plug' and fitted the connections tightly and it has overheated then the connections in the socket must be loose. You should avoid 'adaptors' and extension leads due to the power that the dishwasher uses. This is even more important when using a tumble drier as these use a lot of power for a long time.
