which way round does the seal go, does the part with the two gaps fit inside the groove or outwards to the inside of the dishwasher. If the easy way has the gaps outward into the dishwasher will it not leak from these two points

- I fitted this with the two gaps facing inside the dishwasher which was easy to do though watch out for sharp edge on the groove. No leaks.
