My bosch dishwasher SGS43A42UK/01 doesn't seem to heat anymore
Hi, First symptoms seemed to be a vibrating sound when doing a cycle which didn't sound right!. Did the usual checks for blockage. Took base off, checked impellor which was clear, but it back together, did a reset, set for a rinse cycle and thought everything was working fine. Then tried a full wash cycle and it never stopped. Reset again and tried the quick wash which seemed to go through more than one cycle and never stopped. Drain pump works, water is drained away - works fine for pre-rinse cycle, Inlet valve seems fine - can see water coming in on the flat clear plastic assembly at the side. Tried a full wash cycle again and discovered it doesn't heat the water. Took the base off again and found, what I assume is the heater element housed in a flattish white assembly, which gave resistance reading of about 23 ohms. So it's not broken. What can I try now? Thanks for your time. Chris

The heater sounds OK, above is an NTC sensor that should be several thousands ohms but if faulty may cause the problem. However before replacing check continuity from heater to module.
