Fuse tripping after use of fan and then switching off the oven
Hi ! Our oven (AEG B8871-5) has started to trip the fuse box when switching off the oven - the oven operates ok and it's only when pressing the off switch it trips the switch. After some trial and error have isolated the issue to when using a mode that uses the fan. I don't think it's an element issue since get the problem when using either the top grill element or the main ring element. Also have tried the grill element with and without the fan and without the fan there is no problem. Any idea what's causing this and also what extra event occurs when switching off ? e.g. does the fan speed increase to cool off ? Thanks in advance, Richard

Hi worthywow, I'm not exactly sure why there's a surge only when turning off the oven. The fan is only one-speed - it doesn't rotate faster when you turn the oven off. Aside from that, it's hard to diagnose without having a look! I'd advise getting someone in the know to come round and investigate.
