does the outer green knob come with clutch unit, if not how do you the knob off without breaking it. unable to remove clutch unit through casing

- Yes it does come off, just tilt to the side & use a screwdriver to hold the clip off then tilt the other side, its difficult, be patient.
- it is held on by two "y" clips on the knob be careful when you ease them off.
- The outer knob is not present with the assy. You need to remove the one on the cleaner, this is a snap fit at two points. Slide a thin screwdriver in and lift the snap fit lugs to remove
