Door lock will not release.
My handle has broken off the washer door, but it seems it is because the door lock has not released at the end of the cycle. So I can't open the door to fit a new one.How can I release it? I've tried a different spin cycle and switching off-and-on, but no joy.Any help please.Thanks

- Probably not the safest way, but my son has been releasing a broken handle with a kitchen knife for about a year now till we found this site for a replacement handle!! I suspect you may have fixed the problem now as I see this post is almost a year old!!
