- Roy thanks for this but the problem I have is actually how do you get to access the 'inside' the machine to get to the brushes / spindle on my B37 model there appears to be 'hood' at the front which find impossib to remove (not sure if this ios were you get to the spindle. Underneath there is a metal plate with three fixing screws, I have been able to remove the screws but the 'plate' does not buge. I cannot get into the spindle to even get at the brushes nor remove the old belt drive.
- I have just bought my floor polisher model B37 (over 22 years old)l from ebay and need to replace the belt but am unsure how to 'access' the spindle / brushes. I have tried everywhich way to get 'inside' the darn machine..... any tips
- Answer my own question but may help others. At first sight it appears impossibly small. A bit of stretching with a soak in hot water did the trick - finally. Needs to fit over drive spindle to start and then "wind" it over the two bottom polishers. Persevere and it does happen!
