Bosch aqua stop hose

Hi i have bought a second hand bosch dishwasher with a aquastop hose on the water inlet which has been cut off so i am left with a cut twin core cable and hose. Does this have to be installed or can i install an ordinary fill hose and bypass this device as it is very expensive.

The reason why Aquastop hoses are so expensive is they actually move the inlet valve to the tap and not the machine end. If the hose freezes and splits it does not flood as the valve is switched off. You do not have a inlet valve on your machine so require a Aquastop hose to control the water into the machine.
