The basket was dropped owing to my wife slipping and grabbing it. The mechanism was broken into three parts and fell off so not clear how it is fixed. Looking at the left side mechanism which is still in place is no help. I am inclined to align it as best I can and then tap it into place with a hammer. However I am worried about damaging it.
