I know the heating element has gone when I checked it was clearly broken but there was a bang from the back and sometimes there is water residue when I clean the condenser. I can't turn it on because of the heating element as it shorts out, could it be something else. Thanks

It is normal for water to be in the condenser, although it is unlikely to be other problems but we cannot guarantee this.
