The cooker is a Whirlpool AKP203/WH fitted with this Temp Limiter. When set the cooker heats up but once at temperature, it blows the house fuse and switches off. Is the Temp Limiter at fault.?

The fault is likely to be due to the element but may not be able to prove without replacement.
