The arm on the new hinge for Smeg DUCO4SS main oven door does not lock in when the arm is pulled back. Please help

Check your instruction book, but if no information is available when the door is fully open check the hinges for a hole in the bottom of the lever close to the fulcrum. On some machines you have to push a small nail or drill bit through the holes to lock both hinges before carefully closing the door and lifting it off.
