Why is the bulb a blue colour
Answer this Question (2 Answers)
- Perhaps it's also because blue is colour used to show up in foodstuffs eg blue sticking plasters so if the blue bulb blew then the fragments would be easier to see in your trifle or whatever. Obviously not a lot of help if it explodes into your blueberries!

We believe the blue colour is cosmetic to give a light that appears cold. It is not likely to have any effect on the fridge or its contents (other than optically)
