gasket between motor and body of cleaner does not provide tight seal in wet mode
It doesn't suck as well in wet or dry mode. I can see through the hose when compressed on straight line. If I pick it up by the handle, one side rises off the bottom. Maybe it's the clips, but I do try to align the top to face in the same direction as the "Face"

If the seal is damaged and is not providing a tight seal you will lose suction and it will need to be replaced.
