melting knobs

We rent out a property with an ADP Diplomat multifunction single oven and two of the knobs have slightly melted and are needing to be replaced. I have two questions. 1: Can I get replacements of the same colour? These are a silvery gold. 2: What might have caused them to melt, is it a common problem?

    Chris at eSpares says...

The cause of knobs melting on a gas hob is when an oversized or badly placed pan deflects excess heat onto the knob surface damaging them. To help identify the part you need fill in the information at the link at the bottom of the page (Help Me Find The Part I Need).
