in the absence of a picture its hard to see if this is the hose I need.
There is an outlet hose from the pump to the drain that has a vacuum hose link to the drum and two rubber washers where it mounts to the vacuum hose clip\mounting. is this the hose?

No this is the hose from the pump to the drain. By your description it sounds like you require the sump hose from the drum to the pump.
