Does this sensor control water inlet or is there an inlet solenoid that does as our Siemens dishwasher keeps coming up with E24 & water inlet lamp even though I let & pump filters have been thoroughly cleaned

E24 refers to the dishwasher not draining out correctly if the filters are clear then test the drain pump with a multimeter to determine if it has failed as it is not likely to be the sensor.
