How do you replace knob

How does the old knob come off of the machine in order to fit the new one? Other reviews said it was easy to do.

If you see the third image on the part you can see in relation to the shaft hole at positions 2pm and 8pm there are two 'barbs' that hold the knob in position. You may be lucky and be able to carefully lever the knob off breaking these. Alternatively remove the fascia and remove the pcb to access and press the barbs to release the knob.
