I have the older style filter with the screw fitting rather than compression fitting, how can I change to this type of filter without altering the pipework?

Remove the red clips and push the grey collars towards the filter body to release the black end connectors. Then trim off 10 mm of the old hose and push the fresh cut hose into the filter collars before refitting the red clips to prevent accidental removal.
