on dyson dc25 animal i have unscrewed the chrome plate. but im unsure what to do next

The head is turned off when the machine is upright in the parked position by a switch on the yolk assembly. Check this switch is not stuck and operating correctly.
- hello , have just fitted new head assembly but there is no power getting to it ?
