I have a problem with the heater. the light comes on intermittently or not at all when the door is closed is this a problem with the door catch.
The Model is Hotpoint Ultima Electric Condenser TDC 60

The lock only holds the door closed. The machine is turned on by the operating peg Stock Number: ES493450 at the top centre of the door going through the front panel and pushing the switches behind.
