Do these connectors work with ribbed flexible pipes. I have to join 2 together & the rubber end have been cut off.

Without the rubber ends water can escape along the ribs as it joins the connector. Stock Number: ES478297 is a 2.5 meter single hose, check the ends are suitable for your machine.
