is there a tool to remove the old glass cover

i want to replace the bulb but am a afraid of breaking the glass as it is sealed tight as it has never been removed since new.

    The glass cover can be 'glued' by fat and cleaning products that have drawn down the threads and dried during cooking. If you can get hold of one use a strap wrench used for taking jay lids off (may find one in a good DIY or supermarket) and preheat the oven. Wearing gloves to avoid burning yourself try and remove when warm/hot. Neff/Bosch may use a tool see Stock Number: ES1099279
