Dryer Door Not Closing

Door Latch
If your tumble dryer door is refusing to close, don’t panic as we can provide you with the possible reason why. The main offender usually turns out to be the door latch, failing to make connection with the door lock.

- Open the door and check for any visual damages to the latch itself.
- Depending on the model the dismantle of the latch may be different, usually the latch is held in by screws or clipped in - replace if damaged.
