Cooker Hood Not Removing Smells!
You may have found your way to this page because you are currently being plagued by a lingering odour once you have finished cooking your most recent dish. One of a cooker hood’s job is to remove the odours after you have prepared your meals.
Recirculating hoods have charcoal filters that work to absorb and stop the smells. Each of these filters can absorb a limited amount of odour, when this is no longer the case you’ll need to sniff out those dank smells and replace the filter to restore your extractor fan.
Charcoal Filter
The charcoal filters (also known as carbon filters) are designed to absorb the odours that float through the air from the pan while your ingredients cook on the hob. However over time all filters can block up, leading them to no longer perform as they should.
If your carbon filter needs replacing, you can find our full range of replacement filters on our website, along with a full range of cooker hood spares that are here to help you restore your appliance.
