Turbidity Sensor
If your Bosch dishwasher display is showing an E28 error code it is likely to be a problem with the turbidity sensor - which is located at the bottom of the machine.
This device identifies how much light passes through the water in the dishwasher. If the water is dirty the dishes may not clean correctly and the dishwasher may repeat the rinse cycle over and over again..
Safety First! Please ensure that you have disconnected the appliance from the mains before starting any repair.
- You’ll first need to remove the base of the dishwasher and find the turbidity sensor - located either in the sump or hoses in the base of the machine.
- Inspect the sensor for a buildup of debris and blockages and replace if required.
