Bosch Dishwasher E11 Error Code
Dishwashers are designed to take the worries of cleaning your pots and pans away after you have finished your meals. They are super handy if you have a large household and you are always looking for ways to save time - or of you are simply not a fan of doing the washing up!
If your trusty Bosch dishwasher is flashing a dreaded E11 error code at you, it is usually associated to a faulty NTC/thermistor.
Following this guide should help you find the fault that is causing the issues, and hopefully lead to you getting those sparkling clean dishes out from your dishwasher again in no time!
NTC Thermistor
The thermistor monitors the water temperature inside the dishwasher and allows the control board to regulate the heating element.
If the sensor fails and its resistance is outside the normal limits, the control board will register this and show the E11 error code. The thermistor is usually found pushed into the sump (near the filter) under the wash cavity.
Safety First! Please ensure that you have disconnected the appliance from the mains before starting any repair.
- To access the NTC thermistor remove the base panel if possible to find the sump.
- Look for visible signs of corrosion or damage to the plug or wires and replace the sensor if needed.
