Unlike our other how to articles - this piece is here to highlight the benefit of an anti-flood aqua stop hose. Designed to automatically close off a leak or burst leaving your kitchen to fall at the hands of a flood.
A benefit of the aqua stop hose is that it has a two layer construction which keeps the water inside the outer hose if and when the hose bursts or loses water. The escaping water pressure is then used to turn off the valve.
This video shows an example on how to remove or replace the part on a typical machine, some models may be different but the procedure should be similar.

Step 1 - Safety Advice
Safety First! Please ensure that you have disconnected the appliance from the mains before starting any repair
Step 2 - Replacing The Hose
To fit simply turn off your water supply, disconnect your old hose from the washing machine or dishwasher by unscrewing it. Once removed you can then screw in your new Aqua stop hose in its place and there we go, you have just changed the hose on your appliance with little to no effort.
