Depending on the layout of your kitchen or utility room, you may need to reverse the swing of the door on your tumble dryer. Let us show you how relatively straightforward this task is.
Bear in mind that not all tumble dryers do have reversible doors, but you can quite easily check on yours. If you just take a look at the door itself, if you can see blanking plates that are opposite the hinges and another blanking plate that’s opposite the latch then the chances are you can reverse the door.

Step 1 - Safety Advice
Safety First! Please ensure that you have disconnected the appliance from the mains before starting any repair.
Step 2 - Removing Door Hinge
Start off by unscrewing the hinges from the tumble dryer, which will loosen the door allowing you to take the door off, Simple!
Step 3 - Reversing the Hinge And Latch
All you need to do now is pop off the blanking plates and transfer the hinges and the latch to the opposite side.
Fit the blanking plates back into the old spaces and then remove the blanking plates on the door surround and swap the lock over to the opposite side.
Once the door lock is on you can put the blanking plates back over the old spaces and screw the door back on.
